Everyone was friendly and hospitable esp the manager. The room was beyond our expectation, very well designed and maintained. The pastries were exceptionally good. The town was just right for local experience and we had great experience with the services provided by Kildare Village staff and cab drivers.

Located in the very center of Kildare, Silken Thomas is not a family run B&B, but greets you with a warm welcome anyway! We enjoyed the lovely and unexpected experience to lodge in the nearby Virgina Lodge, in the wonderful Kate Room (each room is dedicated and has a personality). Very large, comfortable, stylish room, the biggest bed ever and everything you can ask for: sincerely jaw dropping! Breakfast not included, but very well cooked in the restaurant a few steps away. Parking was free adn away from the street, located just behind the Silken Thomas restaurant and pub. I would surely come back and recommend Silken Thomas.

Lovely room, great bed, shower and WiFi. Having the use of a lounge and kitchen was really nice. Safe spacious off road parking.

Very friendly and welcoming on arrival. Felt relaxed straight away. comfortable bedrooms and beautiful decor throughout the house. Fabulous breakfast selection, and able to help yourself throughout the day. Beautiful setting with woodland on your door step for walks.

Everything was perfect! A spacious bedroom with a very comfortable bed, a nice bathroom and a lovely atmosphere. Trish is a warm and open minded person. We felt absolutely welcome and enjoyed our stay a lot!! Last but not least the breakfast was delicious. We can recommend the oak house unreserved.

Totally in love with the place. Ivan and Julie- Ann are so lovely and helpful. Picked me up from the train station and took care of every request. Have good recommendations and had a very clean and nicely furnitured rooms.

Received a lovely warm welcome from Mary when I arrived late at night after booking for the wrong night elsewhere! Had a lovely stay in a cosy room and Mary makes breakfast in typical B+B style in the morning also. You will feel very looked after! Felt very welcome, and recommend.
