The friendliness of July , Linda etc. were heartwarming. The bonus was that Linda could reply in our mother-tongue ( Afrikaans) made us feel at home. The food was above expectation. The seafood Chowder and lambshank were 5 star . The breakfast was delightful. The location was historically and phenomenally relevant and picturesque.

Perfect location for taking boat trips: close to the entrance of Portmagee and very short walk to the dock. Parking available right outside (on the road). Very easy and smooth self check-in. Clean and cosy room, quiet in the night.

Christelle and Emmanuel are a lovely couple and made sure our stay at the B&B was really fantastic! They cooked us a wonderful breakfast, with delicious cakes and Irish breakfast. Additionally, they also cooked us dinner the evening we arrived, at a reasonable additional price: the food was delicious and the atmosphere was really great! The room was very clean, new, tidy and spacious. They stored and charged our bikes in the garage and gave us maps and great tips for our journey, overall a fantastic and memorable stay!

We felt very welcomed by the hostes. The rooms were neat, clean, lovely and suited us perfectly. I would recommend anyone to stay here.

The Smugglers Inn overlooks the sandy beach at Ballinskelligs Bay. Most rooms have sea or mountain views and the hotel has a bar, a gourmet restaurant, free WiFi in all areas and free parking.
