It is clear that in this case the owner really thought about all the needs of us travelers - and he enhanced it all with the design of the entire unit. Spacious room, well equipped - we appreciate the style and attention to detail. Electric kettle, French press, coffee and tea available. We had dinner at the "sister hotel" - beware, although it is in sight, but it is definitely not across the street, but within driving distance. Timely and accurate information for check-in, no contact - using a code (we just don't know - what was the metal key for?). Very comfortable beds. Parking in front of the entrance, under the terrace.

The place seems a little lost and left to itself at first glance. Despite this, the state of the premises whether the room, the kitchen or the bathroom was impeccable. We cannot remove from this Guesthouse the fact that it is ideally located in relation to any light source at night because it gave us our first opportunity to see the northern lights along the road below. Neat, clean, well maintained. Easy check-in. Would’ve been a great place to view the northern lights if not for bad weather. Zero draft and well insulated. The place is neat and clean. Absolutely loved staying here.

First time staying in hostel, wasnt sure how all works regarding shared things,information was provided yes and all read. Very happy that you still had your personal little house and toilet. Location was perfect ,stayed one night and very affordable,if needed would definetely come back.

WE SAW THE AURORA. Breakfast included! The cabin was awesome! We had the big/family cabin. Has queen bed and bunkbedx2. Has stove fridge kitchen stuff except microwave huhu. Has balcony where in you can wait and watch for the northern lights. 20 mins drive to Jokulsarlon glacier.
