This is a very beautiful, tiny and quiet town in the refurbished historic house sits directly on the waterfront. It has a beautiful view up the fjord. The common area and kitchen were great for prepping food and sitting and reading. Admittedly, we were here at a quiet time in May, with only two other guests on one of the days we stayed. It was very warm and cozy inside when the wind was howling outside. The town is very small and the dining options are limited, but very good. We rode our bicycles from this location and found it a very convenient base camp for several days. We really had no direct interaction with the owners, but it was easy to get in through the lock box. Parking is easy.

We loved our stay here. The receptionist was really helpful, informative and gave us a lot of tips :) The room was lovely decorated. The bathroom had a heated floor. There is a coffee/chocolate machine in the shared lounge which was really nice as we could enjoy a hot drink and play a few board games, the view to the fjord was breathing. Breakfast was delicious, with a lot of options, homemade bread and waffles :) We definitely recommend staying here.

Jonas is the best host you could wish for! He is super friendly and helpful and cares a lot about his guests. He gives tipps where to go, what to see, etc. The breakfast has everything you need. The rooms are clean and the beds are cozy. I had a room with harbour view and it was wonderful!

Hotel Breidavik is situated in Breiðavík. There is an in-house restaurant, plus free private parking and free WiFi are available.

Amazing location directly at the beach and extraordinary host! She made our stay so convenient and cared for every single guest! Also the self catering kitchen was perfectly equipped and the homemade banana-bread for the included breakfast was outstanding! Thank you so much, we would always come back!

Comfy beds and yummy breakfast! Sharing a bathroom in this establishment is not a problem as it has almost one bathroom per room :)! Highly recommended!!

Location is very scenic and perfect base for accessing all the points of the western fjords. The cabin was equipped with everything we needed and more. Comfy beds and a well equipped kitchen and bathroom. We had a wonderful, perfect stay.
