Villa Contarini is a newly renovated and refurbished Venetian Villa to the highest standards with great professionality and historical charm. The en-suite room is very nice with an extremely comfortable bed and high quality bedding. The air-conditioning is very efficient. It is a huge value that you have access to the garden. The breakfast was served there and you can enjoy al-fresco dining during the day. The Villa is 10 min. walk from the vaporetto station or 2 min, walk from the bus. It is very conveniently located. The breakfast was very generous and was beyond the usual Italian style. It included not only sweet pastries but ham, cheese, fruits, nuts, joghurt, juices, coffee and tea. Michaela and Svet are excellent hosts and their guidance on history, art and architecture in Venice islands are truly valuable and should not be missed. They did all their efforts to accommodate my request and assure that I had a pleasant stay. A great thank you to make me feel at home in Villa Contarini.

I am deeply impressed by this hotel – it feels like a little paradise on Lido. Mrs. Sabina went out of her way to help us with things she didn’t even have to, and I’m so incredibly grateful to her. The staff here is so warm and kind – it feels like being part of a family. The grounds are simply magical – flowers, greenery, and so much love poured into every corner of this place. You can feel it everywhere. I wish you only the best guests and countless moments filled with joy and positive emotions. Everything was not only delicious but also presented so beautifully.

amazing staff, mr. mwafi and miss francesca were super nice and helpful as possible.. great location which is near to major attractions.. the decor and bed size were perfect.. most importantly, AC was more than perfect ( we even had to turn it down sometimes , so feeling hot is not something to worry about at all! ) .. i would encourage anyone to stay here during their time in venice.

The apartment was clean, smelled good, it was quite spacious and had an amazing view to the Grand canal with a personal dock in front of the window and view of Rialto bridge. The location is very close to the train/bus station so if you don’t like walking with luggage this is the place for you because other than taking a water taxi, Venice is very much pedestrian so you have to walk everywhere. The room made you feel like you were in a palace, everything about it was magical. The breakfast was very delicious and made on the spot by the hotel staff. One thing to note, because for us it was a novelty: they hand you a menu with a lot of options, try not to order too much because everything you order will come on a different plate as a meal of its own. Order what you would like to eat first and then order some more once you’ve seen the portions.
