Rachid and Mohamed were one of the best hosts we have met thus far. The accommodation has a perfect location, with an even lovelier view from the balcony. As for the rooms, they were the most authentic looking rooms we have come across. Considering the fact that Aït Benhaddou has no electricity, this place runs fully on solar power! How awesome is that? So you will have everything you need. As for the food, we properly enjoyed it. It was like Morocco in a dish, would definitely recommend this place to anyone. We loved it!

He was incredibly attentive, ensuring our stay was comfortable, personalized, and memorable. Whether it was providing insightful local recommendations or sharing fascinating stories about the area, he made us feel genuinely welcome and enriched our cultural immersion. Riad Tigmi Du Soleil is a magical blend of traditional Moroccan aesthetics and modern comforts. Each room is thoughtfully designed, exuding an old-world charm while boasting the necessary amenities for a comfortable stay. The Riad offers an ideal retreat for those who seek tranquillity amidst authentic Moroccan architecture. One of the Riad's main highlights is its location. Ait Ben Haddou, with its unique earthen clay architecture, is a UNESCO World Heritage site and a jewel of Moroccan history. The Riad's strategic location allows for easy exploration of this historic village, which is an experience that every visitor to Morocco must embark on. The food served at the Riad is another aspect worth mentioning. The delicious traditional Moroccan dishes offered a culinary journey that further deepened our appreciation for the country's rich and diverse culture. The breakfast served was a fantastic start to the day, featuring a variety of local bread, jams, fresh fruit, and Moroccan tea. This place really charmed me. The people, the environment, the surroundings....Mohamend the owner is a man you don't just meet. He has a huge heart and he's very, very nice. He welcomed us with tea and peanuts.... The food, the accommodation, absolutely perfect. I will definitely want to come back!

The location of this hotel is inside the ancient village and so amazing. I think what I loved the most is that each night I had to light candles in my room for light....and it was magical. I feel asleep to candle light and woke later in the night to one or two still burning...and then after the last candles burned out it was very dark so I used a small flashlight that I brought with me so i could find my way to the bathroom. I had a family suite so the bathroom was in the 2nd room. I am not a fan of tagine so I crossed the river and ate in the town each day for lunch and dinner...but I can speak highly of the breakfast.

We enjoyed very much our stay at Kasbah du Peintre, the 500 years old kasbah is beautiful,cosy and confortable and offers a wonderful view on the village and scenic surroundings. Ahmed and his family were incredibly kind and thoughtful, we won’t meet any better hosts ! The food was delicious, don’t miss on it! Thanks a lot for your warm welcome and amazing hospitality.🙏
