Quiet place to stay, 10 minutes driving from the port. Spacious rooms with a lovely patio. Friendly staff. Highly recomended.

Do not be put off by the car park and building materials which currently greet your arrival at Chambre d'hôte Ristorante Pizzeria Liberta, or by the narrow bumpy access road! The location is perfect--on the edge of town and very tranquil with a large well maintained private garden that I really enjoyed spending a few quiet hours in. I had a beautiful large room with a large bathroom, very comfortable bed and lovely views of the garden. Lots of small touches made the room very special--the pictures, the rug, the bedside lamp, the sacking on the high sloping ceiling.... Unfortunately the pizza oven can only be turned on if at least 3 pizzas are ordered and as it was low season this didn't happen either of my nights there. However the cheese omelette was the best I've ever had and the salad was so fresh and delicious that I ordered them 2 nights running! Two young women seemed to be running the kitchen as well as the reception and they did a wonderful job, thank you!
