The place was spacious and had a great view. The owner was very kind and even warmed up the room before we arrived, which was so thoughtful. There was absolutely nothing to complain about. I would definitely visit again!

Beautiful location in a very quiet area. Nice big room with everything needed. Very good attention from the owners in general who also assisted in booking a nice place for dinner nearby. Next visit I will make sure I have the time for a good walk following the channel.

The location was unbelievable. Very Central to lots of restaurants and sights. The room was lovely and had everything we needed and very clean. The host John was very kind and helpful. I would go as far to say, it is the best accommodation I have stayed in.

Such a lovely B&B to visit for a peaceful break. Our room in the converted hay barn was so cosy, and very nicely decorated with a country cottage feel. Comfortable bed and large ensuite. The host was really friendly and helpful, even though we arrived slightly later than planned. The breakfast was brought to eat in our room. It was really fresh and tasty, the scrambled egg was delicious. There is access to a large garden, with horses and chickens. Parking was easy, on the road at the front of the house.

We can only confirm all the previous positive feedbacks. What an amazing place. We loved all there, the location, the surround, the room, the sunset, the canals where we had kayak, the roads in which we ride with the available bikes... Suzan and her husband are friendly hosts, De Donk is definitly in our heart!

We had a wonderful stay with Johanna. She was a delightful host and we couldn't have asked for a more friendly and helpful person to look after us. Breakfast was a feast of eggs, ham, cheese, fresh fruit, yoghurt, breads & pastries, home made jam. The table was groaning, all in a delightful eating space looking out over the canals. The room was very comfortable and beautifully appointed. There was a private, enclosed balcony with lovely views and an en suite shower and basin. The toilet was just outside the door. The bed was so comfortable, I'd have taken it home if I could! I got the feeling Johanna was very conscious of your privacy and was very subtle in letting you have your own space. There was tea and coffee making facilities. Wine and snacks in the room, recharged at supermarket prices. The accommodation is about 10 minutes walk to the centre of Utrecht and was convenient for shopping, restaurants and transport. Utrecht is a great base to travel around the Netherlands (and we certainly did) with great rail and bus links to all of the Netherlands.
