Had a great view of the sea from as the house was located on the top of the hill. Room and the bathroom were very clean and had all the necessary facilities. Host prepared a great traditional breakfast for us and gave detailed suggestions on what to do in the Wellington city. She was really nice and friendly.

Wow I can’t say enough positive things about this place! The hosts were lovely - very accommodating and great communication. The apartment itself was warm and cosy and had absolutely everything we needed for our stay. And the location was outstanding….VERY short walk to gardens and cable car and so handy to everything Wellington has to offer. We wish we could have stayed longer but we will definitely be back.

Lynn was a fantastic host, we arrived with the late ferry from Picton and she provided great instructions how to find the location as Google Maps is misleading, and gave us such a warm welcome despite it was already very late. The breakfast the next morning was fantastic (especially the home-made granola), so even our stay was very short it was such a joy to visit this location!

What an incredible stay! The room was excellent, with exceptional amenities. I never expected to be so comfortable during my Wellington trip. The washroom and kitchen were very neat and tidy, which is always a concern for me, but this stay exceeded my expectations. The beds were comfortable, and the apartment was spacious. I will definitely return if I visit Wellington again. Hosts Rico and Jay should be considered super hosts; they were readily available via text and took our small suggestions seriously. Superb! Couldn't use the front deck because we were in a rush. It's an awesome deck for a morning coffee. Only street Parking but its safe and Handy. We only stayed a night unfortunately, but we really enjoyed it. The peaceful atmosphere in the house, the warmth (we arrived on a windy and rainy day), the host Mark and his kindness and hospitality. The location is perfect for discovering Wellington using the cable car to get to town (5mins). We walked to the little Kelburn village centre nearby and had dinner at the pub. After that we had a very nice chat with Mark. The house itself is very tastefully furnished and the bathroom and kitchen spacious and modern. Everything was clean and there are no negatives to mention from our side. Instead of being „just another night“ at a motel, it was a very special time we will always remember. Thanks Mark!

I recently stayed at June’s lovely home and absolutely loved it. The place was clean and comfortable. Unfortunately, we didn’t get a chance to chat this time, but June was a wonderful host and made everything easy and welcoming. Bo the cat and Milo the dog are just delightful — they made my stay even warmer. If I return to Wellington, I will definitely stay here again. Highly recommended!
