I loved my stay at Hostal Schmidt. It is a neat, lovely, yet simple, little hotel in the center of tiny Prusia, a small hamlet annexed to Pozuzu. The highlight certainly was the host, Ms Schmidt, who spoke fluent German and could tell me a lot about the history of the place, her family and the local cultures of the German settlement. It was a highlight of my entire two weeks in Peru and I would certainly revisit the hotel anytime.

The Albergue Gstir is an enchanting, tranquil place. In our room, we enjoyed a view of this tropical Andes valley. The staff is outstanding and went out of their way to make our stay as pleasant as possible.
