The room we stayed in was on the second floor. The AC was working well enough. There was hot water in the bathroom. We had breakfast outside the room in the terrace when it wasn’t raining. The location is quiet and the view is pastoral.

We originally booked this hotel just to be close to the Chocolate Hills, without any real expectations — especially since the photos were quite basic and the reviews just average. But what a pleasant surprise it turned out to be! The reality far exceeded what we saw online: the room was spacious, clean, and beautifully arranged, and the staff was incredibly kind, welcoming, and attentive throughout our stay. It ended up being a truly lovely stopover — everything was great from start to finish. Thank you again, and congratulations to the team for this hidden gem that definitely deserves more recognition!

I had a wonderful stay at Matilde B&B! The staff was incredibly attentive and made sure I felt welcome from the moment I arrived. Great stay. The super friendly owners and staff are great. Everything available with water fountains. The breakfast is perfect. It's a shame the large square next door closes early at the end of the day. It's ideal to hire a scooter to go a little further afield for something to eat or a drink. We took the accommodation without air conditioning and it's true that it's very hot but we're used to the heat. If you come from Europe I advise you to take the air-conditioned rooms so you don't complain as there are a lot of mosquitoes so it's impossible to open the windows. Thanks again for your stay.

Super nice owner. Helped us with transfer from Tubigon and organisation of further planning on Bohol.Super quick answers in WhatsApp. Plus the room was really sweet, outside of living room. Surrounded by jungle. With binoculars I could even see huge sleeping bats on the tree.
