We have got our best stay here during a week in Madeira. Ocean and town view from room's balcony was very nice. Tony, the local host, was very helpful and caring at all times. He took personal care of every guest during breakfast, which made perfect start of the day! You can go straight from your room to the lava pools, which I did in the mornings when there were less visitors - and it was one of the most amazing experiences! We liked Port Moniz and the hotel so much that we booked a room for an extra day.

Amazing location, a few minutes walk from the beach. Beautiful building with lots of common areas to chill out, and lovely courtyard for breakfast. The rooms were also beautiful, and bathroom really nice, shower was amazing. Breakfast was your general cereal, boiled eggs, meats, cheeses and breads which filled us up nicely. Check in process was smooth with a lock box for key.

we didn’t quite know what to expect. I think the listing suffers a little from being lost in translation. So, it’s an entire apartment- 2 bedrooms, a bathroom, a well stocked kitchen, a living room, and a cosy little outside area with a table and 2 chairs. The apartment is in such a quiet part of the island, the silence at night is blissful! it’s a 30 minute walk down a footpath to the lighthouse- there is a cafe on the way. there is also a fantastic restaurant- O Farolam- 500m away. In hindsight, we would have stayed longer.

Situated in a restored 18th-century home, Casa Da Piedade offers a lounge with fireplace, outdoor garden with barbecue and brightly decorated rooms. Wi-Fi and parking are free.

It is located just below the famous church , the garden and the pool are amazing, we couldn’t get enough of it. The breakfast was fantastic. Enough parking space for the car. One of the most beautiful apartments I have ever seen.

Everything was perfect. The kitchen is well equipped with everything you need, separate cupboards for the food of each room. Our private bathroom had a big tub for nice hot baths and there was a separate toilet downstairs. Comfy beds and super clean. We had a great stay!

One of the greatest places I’ve ever been. Up in the mountains, felt like I was reborn, surrounded by wild nature, animals, fresh air. Great breakfast, stunning views, super friendly service. Felt like home. Reminded me of childhood, kinda magical, like a dream place. Aqua pool with a mountain view, sauna, lots of space to sit, soak up the sun, just breathe. Rooms? Beautiful, really beautiful. Fully equipped, spotless, and I had an amazing mountain view from my window. Felt truly cared for. Customer service? Friendly, easy to talk to. I was there alone, but I loved it. Hope to come back.

It's a nice apartment on the lower part of Prazeres. You will have a view on the sea and on some parts of the mountains. Lucky, there's a parking lot right next to the house and you only need 8 minute by foot to the next supermarket and pizza restaurant. The owner is very friendly and I was greeted with a clean apartment. There's a kitchen but it's only missing an oven. On the other hand, there are 2 big bedrooms, each with an own bathroom (shower and bathtubs). From there you reach Funchal within 45 minutes by car and the streets are in good condition. I made some hikes in the area and if you're not with a car, taxi (Bolt) there is no problem. Be careful about bus stops as I had trouble to find them. Overall I enjoyed the stay and would recommend it to everyone who likes to have a quiet environment and a more rural experience. For a more organised daily life, a clothes rack at the entrance would be nice so I don't need to put my jacket away in the bedroom.

Lovely place to stay on the hill side near Sao Vicente. Definitely need a car to stay here and it is a short drive into the town. Loved our stay here, it was clean, comfortable and had everything you need! Kitchen facilities were great.
