Chez Sofia is a great place to meet other travelers. The rooms are really big. We had a microwave and a fridge in our room. The outdoor seating areas are lovely. It's a bit away from the island but it's so easy to get there by bus. We were so lucky that the owner was there because he is a really lovely, kind man. He made us food and organised a lift to the bus station.

The house is amazing. The rooftop offers possibilities to sunbathe, exercise, meditate and / or do yoga. The location is great, too. It takes only 5 minutes to Auchan, where one can buy pretty much everything one might need. Next to the house there is also a small convenience shop for some small purchases. The mattress on the bed is comfortable and the mosquito net enables peaceful sleep(ing). The host is very responsive and is very helpful. Walking distance to the old historic centre.

Great location, just a short walk over the bridge to the colonial part of St. Louis and not far from the supermarket and restaurants. Good WiFi. Hot water. Lino was very helpful and friendly, answered all our questions right away and is an English teacher, so we appreciated being able to communicate in English. Also it was nice to have breakfast included and a common kitchen where we could cook in the evenings.
