Very comfortable room, good aircon, clean clear pool and lots of sun beds Georgia the manager could not have been nicer. She let me keep the room the day I was leaving. She also got me a free bicycle from another hotel She also organised with the chef to make me some vegetarian meals that weren't on the menu Added delight was a visit from a wild bush baby every evening that comes down for a banana in the restaurant

Beautiful location with a pool, 2 min from a beautiful beach. The place was calm and the staff was verry helpful and welcoming. The room was cleaned every day.The food was also verry good. The owners were very nice, definitly recommend.

We were thoroughly impressed. The rooms were clean and well-maintained, with all the necessary amenities including a TV. The hotel staff were truly awesome - they were welcoming, friendly and always ready to assist with any request or inquiry. The location of the hotel is perfect, with stunning views of the ocean and easy access to the beach. The hotel's facilities and services were top-notch, with a fantastic restaurant serving delicious meals and offered a great selection of soft drinks and fresh juices. One of the highlights of my stay was the fantastic service provided by the hotel staff. They went above and beyond to ensure that my stay was comfortable and enjoyable, and their friendly and attentive approach really made me feel at home. Overall, I highly recommend the Isla Bonita hotel for anyone visiting Matemwe, Zanzibar. Amazing location, right on the beach. Large sea-facing room on 1st floor has the most spectacular terrace we’ve seen - around 30 m2 overlooking the beach, with water few meters from the hotel. Room and the terrace occupies entire front of the building, so guests enjoy total privacy.

Our host, Dorice, was super kind and very attentive to our happiness during the stay. The room is very nice and objectively a really good value for money. I also liked that we could have as much water as we wanted ( on a refillable bottle, so no plastic waste) Breakfast was also tasty and abundant

The location was great, staff were so friendly and willing to help in any way, nothing was a problem. The bed was very comfortable, great shower and air conditioning. The breakfast was lovely and it varied from day to day. I would definitely stay there again.

A nice, clean cosy place, in the main road yet very quiet. It is easy to access Nungwi and Kendwa beach from there. I felt comfortable throughout my stay and the owner and staff made sure I was from the moment I arrived until I left. Everything worked well. I loved the garden area and enjoyed having breakfast from there every morning.
