The apartment of Casa Esperanza has a fully equipped kitchen, a balcony and a private bathroom. The studio and the double room have shared bathroom facilities and an electric kettle. Overall, a great experience. I was met by Kai, who took me to my room, and explained everything, including with a lever-arch file of notes. He checked that I had everything I needed, and then left. I didn't need to contact him, but I had all his contact details in case I did. It's a large enough room with beds, a table and a well-enough equipped kitchen, and a fan in case it gets a bit hot. There is enough hanging space in the cupboard. The bathroom is shared with another room (I knew that at the time of booking), and that might not suit everybody, but it was perfectly fine with me. The location is great: about 2-3 blocks from a tram intersection for the Number 1 tram that goes to the main station and to the Messe Convention centre. Other trams are also there, but I did not use them. There are also two largish grocery stores in the vicinity of the tram station.

The location is wonderful as cows graze in a pasture behind the property and there is easy transit access to the centre of Basel. Cozy room and absolutely fabulous breakfast!

This recently renovated guest house is located less than 1 km from Messe Basel and a 13-minute walk from Kunstmuseum Basel. The guest house features family rooms. The property is in a great location, easy access to old town. We were on top floor in room described as family room. The room actually has 2 rooms within it, so one massive bedroom/ living room area with fridge and coffee maker, and the second being a separate single room. Beautiful bathroom as well. Very peaceful, exceptionally clean, spacious and lovely decor.

Host is friendly and kind, facilities are more than enough and it’ll be your choice again if you go back to Basel as I will 🙂🌿

Everything in the house is steeped in history, charm, and beauty. Immediately upon walking in the gate to the property, you are greeted with an elegant garden. At the door, the wise and wonderful Jean embraces you with a larger-than-life personality. Daisy, with her warmth and loveliness, becomes no stranger too. The breakfast is served downstairs in the shadow of a ticking clock that has more character than a Victor Hugo novel. The bread is homemade and deliciously unique.

At the inn, the rooms include a wardrobe. With a private bathroom fitted with a bath or shower and a hairdryer, rooms at Studios with Kitchenette also have free WiFi. At the accommodation all rooms have a desk and a flat-screen TV. Very nice location and neighborhood for work and living, even green areas very close. Great team very friendly and forthcoming to the needs as guest, information available as new comer and tourist. Restaurant just downstairs, laundry included
