Trudi's home was.charming, centrally located in the old town with easy access to all the main attractions. Comfy bed, nice decor, lots of history to the building and one of the best breakfasts we've had anywhere.. Trudi herself was unobtrusive yet knowledgeable and nice to chat to over breakfast. Wouldn't hesitate to stay again.

Freihof Embrach is set in Embrach, 16 km from Zürich. Guests can enjoy the on-site restaurant. The rooms have a TV. Certain rooms feature a seating area where you can relax. The best in this place is the host! She cares for her guests like a mother. Incredible breakfast! Everything necessary waits for you in the room, including slippers and even a dressing gown. The noise of which she warns is very low. Even the church bells are not loud inside the room (with the window open!). I really recommend thus place!

What a beautiful stay it was. Unfortunately just for 1 night since it was a car road trip stop, but would love to come back one day! Very peaceful area, surrounded by nature and inside the house is just a package of warm and welcoming energy. The hosts were super nice! The bed was really comfortable and the breakfast was exceptional with freshly baked bread, local selection of cheese, farmers eggs and home made marmalade. Also my dog was very friendly welcomed. Thank you very much for everything, I wish I could return tomorrow:)

We were very welcome received by Jorn and we could easily to communicate with him. The place is clean, comfortable, beautiful and good located nearby the nature with many red kites flying around the place. Just WONDERFUL!

The owner guided everything very well. Although, the hotel is is half an hour walking distance from the Kloten bus stop, however Owner himself picked me up from there.
