A Wonderful Stay in a Beautiful Home
This was truly a great place to stay — a beautiful house set in a serene and picturesque location. The view from our room overlooked peaceful fields, with sheep gently grazing nearby, adding to the charm. The house itself was stunning, both inside and out.
What made the experience exceptional were the hosts — incredibly warm, welcoming, and attentive. We genuinely felt at home the moment we arrived. After a long drive, stepping into the house filled us with a sense of calm and positive energy.
The room was spotless, thoughtfully arranged, and better maintained than many 5-star hotels. Every little detail was taken care of — from clean linens to the smallest comforts.
Breakfast was a highlight. We appreciated receiving a menu in advance to choose from, and every dish was clearly prepared with love and care. It was not just a meal, but a warm experience.
I wholeheartedly recommend this stay — it’s rare to find such a perfect blend of comfort, beauty, and heartfelt hospitality.

Accommodation that exceeded my expectations in absolutely everything. Cozy and pleasant apartments, well furnished, quiet location, which is only a 10-minute walk from the city center. In addition, the very accommodating owner, who, even though she could not meet us due to the weather, arranged everything to our satisfaction from a distance. Hazel, thank you very much.

The apartment was very clean, spacious, and had everything we needed. Great location and a great place to stay when visiting the island. It is very quiet and has lots of light. Karen is an amazing host! Thank you, Karen, for everything! We loved it! We hope to be back there someday.

Lovely couple taking good care of travelers. The room was large, bright, quiet, and comfortable with self-service tea tray and cookies. Every morning, there are various kind of ham & cheese, freshly baked croissant, toast, coffee/tea, cereal, fresh fruits, and juices. In the afternoon, there is a freshly baked sweet, made by the owner to go with tea, after returning tired from outings.

This feels less like a pod and more like a luxury boutique hotel room. The facilities were excellent and I loved the private outdoor seating area (was lucky enough to have the weather to enjoy it). I was here alone for work, would 100% book again, and tempted to bring my partner next time for a romantic getaway!

Spacious, modern, comfortable, warm, lots of parking, private, quiet, and great kitchen, bathrooms and laundry facilities. The bed was very comfortable. It was lovely being able to walk around the acres of private woodland, listen to the birds, and look out onto the green trees. The inn was only a couple of minutes' walk for drinks and dining. Handy, central location for driving to the Neist Point lighthouse, Queraing, Old Man of Storr, and Portree. Phil and Karen were great hosts.
