We came to this area to visit the Chained Library. They made some recommendations of other things to see and checked hours to ensure that everything would be open for us. The room was clean, bed was comfortable, and we enjoyed the views from our little deck in front of our room. Would absolutely stay again!

The room we stayed in, as are all rooms, immaculate and luxuriously decorated. A delicious breakfast was available and it had a comprehensive choice. We would fully recommend staying in this accommodation. The windows were also easy to open and close and there was free parking.

Fiona, James, and their pets were as inviting as they come. We felt like family for the evening. The breakfast was divine. Everything about this property blew us away and the price was quite reasonable as well.

The Ancient Briton was one of the best B&Bs we stayed at during our 2.5-week trip through the UK. The staff, rooms, food, and overall atmosphere exceeded our expectations. The building is old but tastefully refurbished. While some stairways are narrow and dim (a bit of a challenge with luggage), the rooms were comfortable, well-equipped, and even featured unique plaster ceiling designs that gave them real character. The staff was outstanding. The woman who managed breakfast each morning (I wish I remembered her name) was especially wonderful—warm, attentive, and full of local tips. Thanks to her, we discovered the Red Kite Feeding Station in Llanddeusant, which turned out to be a highlight of our trip. The pub downstairs is lively and welcoming, with excellent food and a friendly mix of locals. It does get busy in the evenings, but even as a party of six, we were always accommodated.
