Gianna Suites is built in the traditional style of Santorini Island and offers comfortable rooms with private balconies and flat-screen, satellite TV. Some units have a spa bath or a shower with hydromassage facilities. Gianna Suites was easily walkable from both Fira and Firostefani but was located on a side street off the other side of the main road and therefore was quiet and peaceful, with lovely views out to the sea and flatter areas of Santorini. So it was also easily walkable to those areas as well. I especially loved the little private balcony which was warm and sunny and brought refreshing air inside. The hosts were exceptionally engaging and welcoming, offering a genuine sense of hospitality and organising tour and trip arrangements with sincere helpfulness. The drivers were also very engaging and genuine. Santorini, as a whole, treats visitors with great politeness. As an older, solo traveller, I felt safe and respected. I greatly appreciated their cheerful and honest responses, and also the self-respect and respect for Santorini that they showed. I value the authenticity which greeted me.

The room was brand new, spacious, and very comfortable for a family, with modern decoration and a central location that made everything easily accessible. The private parking was a big plus, especially since parking in Nydri can be quite challenging during the high season. What truly stood out was the hospitality of the owner, Nektarios. He was extremely helpful and handled a small issue we encountered with professionalism and a strong customer-focused attitude. I was particularly impressed by his follow-up to make sure everything was resolved to our satisfaction. Nektarios also gave us excellent restaurant recommendations, and we were very happy with all of them! Overall, NS Apartments is great value for money and managed by a truly professional owner. I highly recommend it!
