The staff, and the locals in the pub for that matter, were delightful and friendly. We were worried about Saturday night rooms attached to a pub, but the recent remodel must have included excellent sound proofing. We never heard the pub at all. There were 4 very happy people right outside our open window at 2am, when I politely asked them to move down the street, they did so with good cheer😎. The included breakfast was quite good, and the pizza we had in the pub was pretty good too. Good place to stay.

Hartley House is a beautiful B&B set in a quiet location whilst still being very convenient for the lively town of Carrick-on-Shannon. The house is a real home from home with exceptionally comfortable and luxurious rooms. Kate is a perfect host - warm and friendly, offering refreshments on arrival and providing a fantastic breakfast. We really enjoyed chatting to Kate and sharing many stories. The picturesque town of Carrick-on-Shannon is home to the Aisleigh Guest House. The River Shannon is just a 10-minute walk and bedrooms have en suite shower rooms and TVs. Lots of fresh fruit salad and healthy food available at breakfast! The coffee was fresh, filtered and plentiful.

Very clean room, comfortable with everything I needed for the stay. Conor stayed in contact with me and made the check in seamless, also confirmed prior to leaving the United States and followed up after I arrived home. Excellent location, close to everything. 50m from the bus stop and a 15 minute walk to the train station.

As it says its a little bit out of town but only a 3 minute taxi, in a beautiful setting, that's just perfect after a busy night in town.This is a wonderfully chic, super clean, everything you would want, high end room in a fantastic setting. The hostess had a hot line for a cab to bring us in and out on a busy night, loads of beautiful extras and a really not to be beaten price. You could not ask for more and we look forward to staying again. The place and the host are truly gems.
