Boasting a garden and views of garden, Mon Petit Cottage - B&B and Guest House in Bunclody is a recently renovated bed and breakfast situated in Bunclody, 12 km from Altamont Gardens. This 5-star bed and breakfast offers full-day security and luggage storage space. There is a picnic area and guests can make use of free WiFi, free private parking and an electric vehicle charging station. We had a great stay at Mon Petite Cottage. We were greeted upon arrival and shown around the house. We were offered complimentary coffee and breakfast items. The cottage is unique, very cosy, and spotlessly clean. The kitchen has all the necessary appliances (microwave, kettle, toaster, hob, oven, dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer). The electric shower in the bathroom works perfectly. The living room has a big tv. There are books, jigsaw puzzles and outdoor games available. There are two lovely outdoor seating areas, and the neighbourhood is quiet and peacful. The local supermarket has a good choice of groceries (we are vegan and had no trouble buying everything we needed), as well as other necessities. The location is perfect for visiting Ireland's Ancient East attractions, as well as a day trip to Dublin (about 1.5 h drive). Also, an EV charger is available!

Loved the location, near beautiful beaches and cliff walks. Clean as a whistle. Good solid breakfast! We will return, for certain!

Plus we appreciated the kettle with tea and coffee. Our hostess was warm, friendly and ready to help. She provided delicious breakfasts with special dietary requests considered. Bella was a sweet, lovable greeter (after her owner first checking with us if we like dogs) - a very well behaved teddy bear of a dog!

If you like a good walk with spectacular views, drive about 15 minutes to Tara Hill and try the red or blue trails. You can see just about the whole of County Wexford from up there!
