You can also meet a lot of other people there from all around the world and I personally didn’t mind waiting for the bathroom. Breakfast was very delicious and always different! I really can’t say anything bad maybe my best stay in Japan until now and will try to come back again and see how my new friends are doing. You can rent towels or a toothbrush or bring your own. I felt like home and wish i stayed longer. Thank you for the wonderful experience!

We did some hiking in the mountains close by and it was a great staring point

We were the only guests and had use of all the facilities- being able to wash and dry clothes overnight was very useful. The owner of the house was exceptionally helpful - she drove us around and we took her to dinner in the evening and she took us to her favorite bar. It was fun to have our own guide and interesting to talk to her about the area. She also drove us to the station the next morning. Definitely a cultural experience!

The place is a super nice experience to living in a traditional style house, while also having modern comforts. The women bunk beds were costume made for nice and spacey comfort. And location is perfectly nestled in a quiet neighborhood very close to the park. protip there’s a bike rental place 1 minute around the corner.

There is a private entrance at the guest house for the convenience of those who stay. Private parking can be arranged at an extra charge. Bed comfortable - lovely to stay in a ryokan. Marginally stressful with rambunctious 10yo and paper walls! The owner was amazing and exceptionally kind. My husband needed medical attention and he rang around to find out what was open on public holiday and then drove him to hospital, translated and drove him home. Incredibly kind and far far exceeded our expectations. Thank you so much!
