Nestled amidst a private garden fitted with a terrace, Uncle Sam Villa offers quiet accommodation in the heart of Siem Reap. It features free WiFi throughout the entire property and an in-house restaurant. An absolute gem in the heart of Siem Reap. We stayed here given we were unable to extend our stay. For the value and location this is a fantastic place to rest and relax. Only a stone throw from pub street and the big pagoda you are in the heart of the action. If you really don’t want to walk, then a tuk tuk to either of these is no more than $1. The rooms are spacious with an all round balcony to enjoy your view of the skyline. The beds are large and cosy and the staff literally go out of their way to make sure you have everything you need to be comfortable. The entrance is through the parking area in front of the restaurant (with breakfast served from 0600-0900). Note we didn’t notice an elevator so stairs are your option to get to the rooms. A wonderful place for the price!

The property features quiet street views and is 9.4 km from Angkor Wat and less than 1 km from Artisans D'Angkor. The guest house has family rooms. Really good place to rest, spacious rooms, the owner is super friendly

A patio with outdoor furniture and pool views is offered in all units. At the bed and breakfast, units have bed linen and towels. A quiet and peaceful place very close to the city center. Beautiful grounds and cute cabin. The staff was great and they spoke English and Spanish. Had a great little poolside bar with beers for a dollar.

It’s peaceful and lovely Amazing green space with lovely rooms. Spacious bedroom and bathroom. Just outside of the main town so that you get some peace and quiet at night.

All units are air-conditioned and some of them have a seating area with a flat-screen TV, and a fully equipped kitchen with a dining area. With a private bathroom fitted with a shower and a hair dryer, some units at the guest house also feature a terrace. At the guest house, units have bed linen and towels. We rented out the entire villa (4 bedrooms/5 bathrooms), plus kitchen/dining/living areas. This was a ton of space - could have comfortably housed 14 people rather than our 8. Everything was quite clean, the beds were soft and comfortable, and the showers were warm (once we figured out the hot water heaters). The home is down a little dirt road halfway between two major streets. The neighborhood was walkable to the downtown area, or else you could take a $1.25 tuktuk ride, and it was also an easy walk to the local market each morning. The WiFi worked Anou, our hostess, was just outstanding. She welcomed us with delicious snacks and fruit, checked in on us every day, and was quick to provide everything we could possibly ask for - laundry service, a missing kitchen utensil, a case of hard-to-find Coke Zero, whatever. She escorted us to the market the first day to show us the ropes and make sure we understood what fair prices should be, and put us in contact with a little nonprofit around the corner where we volunteered doing some English practice with local university students. They don't do daily cleaning, but came to clean or bring fresh towels/sheets anytime we requested it.

Trevor and staff are such great hosts, always asking us how our day has been and on hand to answer any questions we had. We stayed in the family suite and it was very spacious to say the least. 2 bedrooms and a massive lounge, en suite in the master bedroom as well as a bathroom. The kids swapped beds as the lounge had 2 sofa beds and I mean they are bed size. Air con worked perfectly and there's also a fan in each room too. Can't say we've stayed in much better accommodation than this. The tranquility of the pool area was sublime, enough sunbeds and loungers for everyone....no getting up early to put the towels on! The pool was big enough and the kids could play safely in the shallow end with no worries. Plenty of options at breakfast and even a cheeky bacon and egg sandwich with HP sauce! Great choice of drinks as well. There were super friendly like minded travellers from Australia and beyond always happy to chat to you. We were sad to leave to leave but what an introduction to Cambodia and Siem Reap. Honestly can't recommend this place enough, if you're ever in Siem Reap, stay here. Thanks again Trevor and if we ever come back to Siem Reap we will stay with you again.

Walking distance to downtown and night markets. A/C works great. Just off the main road. Laundry service was quick, cheap and good. Great value! I ended up staying an extra 2 days.

The staff were so friendly and helpful — they made me feel truly welcomed and well taken care of. I really appreciate their warm hospitality and great service throughout my stay. Best price for a brand new room/appartment I could find, modern clean look but with a lot of wood so a home like vibe. Comfortable mattress, good shower, good AC and a own little kitchen with large fridge and freezer and washing machine. Nice large open balcony and a larger roof terrace with nice view in a quiet part of the city but still everything nearby. Owner Boret and his colleagues are very friendly and can help you with any question and request.
