We had great talks and Opali told us a lot about his life and Sri Lankas situation. He even did a night walk with us where we saw lots of animals. Also, the place is perfectly located if you want to visit the ancient city, you can even rent bikes directly at the house. In Polonnaruwa I would go there again any time. Highly recommended!!

She even let us stay a little while longer to freshen up and prepare for the next leg of our journey, after we came back from half a day in Anudharapura. You really see that she loves hosting and it shows in everything she does for her guests.

He had a knack for getting us in the right spots for elephant viewing and was respectful to give the elephants space. Highly recommend a trip with him. We also recommend the morning trip as he said in the afternoons sometimes there are 200 jeeps!
