I don't often write reveiws unless suitably impressed, The place was fantastic in every way. It was new, clean, beautifully decorated, the beds again were the most comfortable ever, with beautiful linen. The wifi and facilities were brilliant. This was a great place to explore Hastings and surrounding areas. A lovely home to come to after a day out. There is even a barbeque to use outside the doors, a lovely verandah to sit in the evenings and the huge doors open up on a hot evening. Very close to cafes and places to visit and not far from splash planet.

The shower is easily adjusted for height with excellent pressure and ample hot water. It’s located across from the beach and boardwalk. Multiple restaurants within walking distance. Hosts live above and are easily accessible yet unobtrusive. Very comfortable.

This is an 11/10 6* experience. Esther and Tom are exceptional hosts and go out of their way to make your stay perfect. They not only picked me up and dropped me off at the bus station but also helped with restaurant reservations. Meet and greet fellow guests with a drink at 5pm was a great way to get to know fellow travellers. The place itself was beautiful and in a perfect location. Breakfast was the best I’ve had in NZ. I could go on and on about just how good this is but go and see for yourself!
