She made a terrific, hearty breakfast including fresh bread, eggs, coffee with all options of milk, and even offered vegetarian breakfast options to my vegetarian guest. She readily offered fruit from her fruit tree and fresh smoothies every day. She let us do our laundry for free, moved cars around when we struggled to back out, and offered recommendations for the city. I would absolutely stay here again and recommend to everyone I know. Nanette is so sweet and kind, it's truly like staying with family.

The property has an outdoor dining area. A really lovely place, so comfortable and an ideal location for Tongario Alpine Crossing. The hosts were amazing, super friendly and gave great advice on the crossing and weather conditions. The hot tub out the back is the cherry on top! We stayed in a lot of places travelling through New Zealand and this one was our favourite! I'd absolutely recommend it to anyone!

At the bed and breakfast, the units are equipped with bed linen and towels. Beautiful, retro decor (I believe 19th Century) yet modern, comfortable room and bed, great view of the lake. Quiet location, a few minutes drive from the centre. Besides the room, a sitting room is available (I used it for a zoom session without having to disturb my partner). Well equipped bathroom, excellent shower. Kindest hosts!

Situated in Kuratau, Tongariro Adventures features accommodation with seating area. There is a private entrance at the bed and breakfast for the convenience of those who stay. There is a sun terrace and guests can make use of free WiFi and free private parking. The hosts were great and the location close to the lake was ideal. The bed was comfortable and there was plenty of room to lay out our stuff. Parking was convenient and it was easy to get in/out. Breakfasts were nice and fresh. The neighborhood was nice and quiet. Close access to the walking path at the edge of the lake was a plus.
