We arrived in the afternoon to this beautiful country house, cold from the rain, Alin came a few minutes later to show us around. What a great welcome: the fireplace was already on, the house was super clean and organized, and Alin showed us the coffee machine and made sure the heating was working in our room. We cooked dinner (they have all the utilities needed, spices, and things people left behind), and saw a movie in front of the magical fireplace. We wish we could have stayed longer, or even come back next time when it is warmer and enjoy the great yard and stream outside. And the cherry on the top for me - they texted me after the checkout asking if everything was okay. Really top notch in service. Thanks Alin and Alina!

Large double bed with side tables+ lights, wardrobe, table, one chair, fridge, TV, WiFi, no Aircon but radiator for heating. On-suite with large walk-in shower and shared balcony's. Room, towels and bedding all clean. Shared kitchen/dinning area with TV. All very nice, clean and modern. Seven double rooms, two shared kitchen/dining areas all on first floor, while the owners live on the ground floor. Outside BBQ area, hot tub (weather dependant) and parking for 6 cars inside gate. Not many places to eat nearby. Went to Lidl (@ 15 min drive) and bought supplies for tea and breakfast. We had the whole place to ourselves so can't comment on soundproofing. Great place to stop if travelling the Transfagarasan highway which passes over the Fagaras mountains in Transylvania.

We had breakfast there as well and everything tasted fresh and amazing.

There are some steps on the way to the rooms (no elevator) but it's worth it. The guy at the front desk was super friendly and helpful. Perfect location to start or end the Transfigursen road

Set in Curtea de Argeş, within 40 km of Cozia AquaPark, Boutique Hotel Casa Medievala is an accommodation offering city views. The property has mountain and garden views, and is 27 km from Vidraru Dam. There is free private parking and the property offers paid airport shuttle service. Our car broke down and we neded accomodation at the last minute. The staff at the hotel was extremely helpful, accomodating us at the last minute (even though it was late) and the next day helping us order a taxi.
