Lovely room, lovely breakfast, stunning location and Christian the owner was brilliant. We used the Gasthof Schontal as a base for travelling to and from Kitzbuhel for a days skiing and the Hahnenkahm races. A half hour drive takes you to Kirchberg in Tyrol where there is free parking and a free shuttle train which takes you into Kitzbuhel itself. Perfect

This is the best place I have stayed, truly excellent. The family were excellent hosts, friendly and everything you needed but not overbearing, like a top Michelin star restaurant. The breakfast was excellent too. The views unparalleled. The rooms clean and nice and big, with excellent bathrooms. The town is nice. Thank you so much to family Larch for the best stay in our trip. Excellent stay for me my wife and two teenagers. Have absolutely nothing to complain about. Really friendly staff. Excellent room. Fantastic view. A pool indoors,, sauna, steam sauna and more. Ate dinner and had a really great experiance despite our late booking. Highly recommended. We will come back for sure and probably stay for several days more next time. You won't be disappointed. Highly recommended.

Everything was perfect! The apartment was amazing, everything was clean, a spectacular view from the balcony and kitchen was very well equipped! The stuff was also very nice and very helpful and flexible with the check-in time. We didn’t miss anything during our trip!

Super-nice hosts, very helpful and kind. Beautiful chalet with the right mix of privacy in four bed-rooms with their own bathrooms. But also with a central living and dining room. The place couldn't be closer to the skiing resort. Perfect starting point for our skiing days and very convenient to get to the meeting point for the ski school.
