Stephanie and Philipp are very welcoming hosts! The house is super clean, newly renovated and has everything you need - coffee machine and water boiler, hair dryer and extra blankets, free parking and a nice place for breakfast/grocery shopping nearby. Some snacks and drinks are also available. The view from the very spacious balcony is a big plus!!

Plötzhof is a quirky old home full of character and very well appointed in the kitchen and bathroom without losing any of the old charm. We enjoyed exploring the area especially a trip to the Hallstatt salt mine and the lakes closer to the property. Overall, we enjoyed our stay very much

The location was superior, close by car to all lakes and places we wanted to go. Beautiful view of the Fuschlsee lake and surrounding mountains from the terrace. Shaded by trees (next to the wood). Great for kids - all kinds of bikes available for free and a playground.

Haus Mayerhofer is a lovely and cosy place! We spend Christmas there and had the best time! Beds are really comfortable! And it has a big living room and kitchen space. The apartment was perfectly heated for the snow! Although the bathroom is en suite with the one room, it wasn't a problem for us as 'n family. Breakfast is available on request. Everything is closed in St. Gilgen on Christmas Eve and Christmas day, but we made a delicious meal in our apartment. There is Spar supermarket close by to buy all you need. The people are very friendly and St. Gilgen is a beautiful town! It is close to the bus stop which connects you to anywhere!

Level 3 traveler-I looked forward to our second stay at BnB Villa Verde, this one 5 nights Dec 4-9th 2024 to see Christmas Markets/Krampus.Like staying with friends Alex & Iris are wonderful hosts-friendly,funny,informative.Boutique cozy feel, extra comfy king bed.Breakfast is scrumptious with made to order eggs and coffee service. Alex is sociable and outgoing yet balancing privacy.Located in quiet area one-way street adjacent to a brook and 7 min to main shop street.We stayed in Oct 23 and rebooked happily for our return,perhaps the best compliment. Very peaceful appartment surrounded by beautiful nature & people. Can only recommend to stay in this lovely farm. Ideal place to visit Salzburg and surrounding (free transport ticket with city tax, 10 min away by foot to the train station which allows you to visit Salzburg without car). You must try their local production (cheese, milk, honey).
