Very friendly, knowledgeable and interesting hosts. Great location on the water, but just a minute away from the city center. The hostess is kind and very helpful and great company. The location of the lodge itself makes is a really unique experience. The lodge is located on the edge of Kampong Ayer, the village on the water, and can only be accessed by taking one of the many boats. It is a private home in an excellent location in the water village. It is only a two or three minute ferry ride across to the main part of town. She made large and delicious breakfasts every morning. The homestay is near the village restaurants. We enjoyed kayaking and the sunset on the beach.
