The house is directly in the jungle with a wonderful view on the Sierpe forest. When the sky is clear it’s possible to see the Pacific. The House has everything you need to cook at home. Be aware that the place is accessible only by car and you need to take a boot, therefore it is suggested to organise your grocery before (in Palmar Norte where there is also the last available ATM). In case you would like to have an amazing dinner, Simone can prepare dinner for you. Simone organised for us a very nice tour in the Mangrove systems which was really worth it as we saw many wild fauna!

Our stay at this apartment was absolutely wonderful! The place was exceptionally clean, comfortable, and perfectly equipped with all the amenities we needed. The location was ideal, conveniently close to the ferry dock. Our host, Adriana, warmly welcomed us and went above and beyond with her kindness and attention, even helping us resolve an issue with our laundry. We stayed 3 days at la Muñequita Lodge and it was just a wonderful experience. We have been very warmly welcomed by Heyner and his wife, they are both kind and are truly interested in people and sharing their culture. The place is so peaceful and true Costa Rican lifestyle in the middle of the goats, cows and chickens. Our Lodge was a big wodden cabina type with 2 separated bedrooms; filling and yummy breakfast are taken at Heyner and his wife's house where we can happily chat ans learn about nature, fruits they are growing... Also they offer dinner at their house as well if you want, we have eaten there the 3 nights we were there and the food was just delicious sharing the table with any other guests in the 2nd lodge. Our 2 kids 4 & 2 y.o loved being among the goats and cows and could feed them amd watch the milk so thank you Heyner and the whole farmer's team for taking the time to show us around... During the day you have couple of options, many parks around piernas blancas, corcovados or beaches playa de las Ventanas... We and the kids had an amazing time and can only recommend highly to stop by to have a true ans Unique Costa Rican experience.

Really authentic location, well equipped house with a great terrace, fridge/freezer, AC, hot water in the shower, washing machine and clothes lines for drying. Everything we needed with two small children. Jorge was also really nice, helped us out and gave good tips for the area - fx Playa Ventanas, that we really enjoyed. Highly recommended!

The location was remote which made it so special, quiet and enjoyable. The home was immaculate and very comfortable. The facilities at the site were exceptional (swimming pool, ping pong, hiking trails, community garden...)

We stayed here as need a stop before going on to Drake. The staff & bbq were so lovely. the rooms perfect for a stop over & great to be in a local non tourist town in CR. Do try this place , super cute , great food - Top chef & again lovey staff.

Everything. Sabrina and Edu are exceptional and kind hosts. We felt we were welcomed into their little slice of paradise. Location: Perfect for those who want to slow-down and reconnect with nature Service and Activities: Thanks for arranging tours and excursions as well as shuttling us around for a smooth and stress-free trip. The property itself has so much to explore and do from paddling to wildlife watching, to hiking, to exploring the local surroundings. Fantastic Food: Every meal was home-made with items from scratch some of which with ingredients directly grown and sourced from the property! Ambiance: Waking up every morning to the sounds of a living breathing wildlife sanctuary... what more can I say?
