The location of Hyrdeskolen is absolutely beautiful, with woods and vast green fields around. It's peacefully and quiet. One of the room's windows is facing South where beautiful sunsets can be seen but it's better to go outside. There is a space to sit outside with your morning coffee or at any time of the day. The room is simple but it's clean with two comfortable armchairs, there is a fridge, kettle and a Tchibo coffee machine, which I much appreciated. It's a lovely touch to facilitate a good coffee machine with a nice coffee in the room, so you can have a morning brew before you go on with your day. The owners are kind, thoughtful and friendly people. We could also see dogs in training, which was very interesting. When we are back in Denmark, we will be looking to stay in Hyrdeskolen again. P.S. The only thing that I was missing was some kind of clothes storage, for example, a simple rail with few hangers in the room/ wall hooks to hang some clothing from the briefcase. Nice place to stay several days to enjoy country side. Very close to LEGOLAND. Place has everything for the children, playground, animals and the most traditional game at the town - LEGO, ready to play 😊. Last but not the least, the host Karina is superb, always available to support. Great stay

We booked the place for two nights for my daughter to go to Lego house. Next time we would stay for more. Great place. Has a nice play ground both for kids and the parents. The owner is very nice and friendly! There is a small zoo inside with Lama 🦙, horses 🐎, and many other animals. Plenty of parking spaces. Amazing place!

    great location. playground for kids and a lego-room for kids. perfect for the kids to play, while you prepare breakfast. near Legoland, only 15 minutes drive. 5 minute drive to village where they have supermarkets. 15 min drive to restaurants in Billund. point of improvement; we believe a dishwasher would make the stay complete.
