The house was lovely and clean, everything you could possibly need was there. The furnishings were nice and in a good state and the house was nicely decorated with attention to detail. The black out blinds were great. The garden was nice and tidy and the view just fantastic. We’ve seen deer and hares almost every day. We had a great time. Christelle was very welcoming and explained everything in detail.

I was travelling with my cousin to see historical sites in Normandy relating, in particular, to D-Day and the Normandy Campaign of 1944 - in which my cousin's father served. Chateau de Grandval was an absolute delight. It was part of that history and the hostess, and her daughters, were marvellous. The Chateau itself is a delight and is full of other delights.
