What a brilliant place to stay whilst visiting the Orkneys. Our room was spacious and well decked out with everything you need for a stay. The bed was comfortable and bathroom spotless. Hot breakfast to order upstairs in the dining room made by the lovely Alice. Thank you so much for being so helpful and informative in our emails to you…. This is a gem of an apartment. We never expected it to be so beautiful, new and just perfect. Ellen is a very kind and generous host. She contacted us before we arrived to let us know that although breakfast was not included, she would provide the basics. We even found fruit and fresh free-range eggs, which was such a treat. The apartment is in a building of its own. It is quiet, extremely well-equipped and cosy - we would have loved to stay longer. We cannot recommend it highly enough. This was the biggest surprise of our trip as we never expected it to be so perfect :-). Thank you, Ellen, for a wonderful stay!
