Here, you're almost alone in the water – and we were here during the busiest season. You can even swim to a taverna of your choice, with plenty nearby. Me and my family are overall very happy with our stay at Julias Cottage. It felt clean and it absolutely matched our expectations. A big plus was the communication with Yana. For example we wanted a table-lamp for my grandmother so she could read at night. And the next morning we got a table lamp. She also helped with connecting us to a Taxi we could trust. Another plus is that there is an AC in every bedroom. Very appreciated!

The hotel is even better than in the pictures. Everything was exceptional, from the daily fresh à la carte breakfast menu, gorgeous sunset views to the friendly and accommodating staff, you will not be disappointed. The hosts were extremely welcoming, from recommendations for restaurant and beaches nearby to having a beer and talking about the property at night. Everything is basically brand new and sorted out perfectly. The balcony offers an amazing view of the bay and sunbeds to relax. The room was modern and had everything you needed. The breakfast is also very much recommended, everything you could want with a great view. A real hidden gem that I would recommend to anyone visiting Crete

    1.The lady owner was super nice and very friendly, and so helpful when you ask her about something, gave us good tips and made sure we have everything we asked for. 2.The room view is very nice, you can enjoy your morning coffee looking at the sea. 3.The room is very clean and you have everything you want in it. 4.There is a small parking infront of the Villa, which was a good thing. This place is very recommended, you won’t regret staying there.

    Erodios Apartments are located in a very quiet area of Kalives even though it is very close to the centre of the village. The apartment was spacious and very clean. The beds were super comfy! We loved having two balconies! There are great views over the village towards the sea and of the white mountains in the opposite direction. Francois was a great host, very friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble.

    This was our second time staying at this property and everything was perfect. The rooms are immaculately clean and bedding and towels were changed three times during our five night stay. The apartments are ideally situated at the edge of the village being a short walk from the supermarket and beach in one direction and the centre of Kalyves in the other. We look forward to returning again in the future.

    Ismini apartments has a fantastic location, the front of the building steps out into the village and the back has a beautiful lawn and a path directly to the beach. Inside the property is traditionally furnished with lovely comfortable beds and a stunning view from the bedrooms. Ismini the host was wonderful, and responded extremely quickly with anything we needed.

    The villa is beautiful and well maintained. There were a few minor issues, the shower heads that were in the one of upstairs rooms weren't fully secured and there was something covered in one of the rooms. Everything else was perfect though.
