It's in a village nestled in a valley where it's almost constantly quiet (apart from various animal noises from time to time!), but not too far from key attractions in Western Crete. Chania, good beaches, and a reasonable variety of museums and restaurants are all within 30 mins' drive. There's also a good taverna just a few minutes' walk downhill from the villa. We enjoyed this place as a good base for day trips to Omalos/LefkaOri, as well as Kissamos and Chania. The house offers top-notch facilities and the terrace is very breasy. The space is clean, simple and spacious, and the hosts are extremely warm and hospitable. The village is surrounded by orchards and we loved the relaxed vibe and all the animal neighbours.
