Exellent pearl in the middle of a beautiful landscape. Lovely young man welcomed us. Local museum Pórbergur Centre, don't miss it. Fantastic dinner - lamb- and breakfast with homemade bread and lamb charcuterie. We can only recomend this wonderful place.

The place seems a little lost and left to itself at first glance. Despite this, the state of the premises whether the room, the kitchen or the bathroom was impeccable. We cannot remove from this Guesthouse the fact that it is ideally located in relation to any light source at night because it gave us our first opportunity to see the northern lights along the road below. Lækjarhus is beautifully located in the countryside and yet very accessible and close enough to the main road. The apartments are spacious, clean and designed with great taste. Very friendly and helpful hosts. We loved staying there !

Just stay here. You'll never forget it. There are three pods but they're hundreds of meters apart. You're basically alone on a glacial.lagoon in front of a glacial snout and icebergs go floating by.
