The apartment is amazingly equipped with anything you might need, everything is super clean and spacious. Very comfortable to stay for a few days. Even though the host does not speak a word of English, she was trying very hard to help us get the the location (there were constrution sites and a football game on the day we arrived which made it impossible to access the road). The host was amazingly helpful and polite, we were very grateful for her hospitality.

This apartment and its owner made my stay in Reggio Emilia just like at home. Great location, amenities, the apartment is fully equipped with everything needed for everyday life. Super helpful and friendly owner Sara - advised me a lot about various things during my stay. I would like to stay at least another week here!

I visited Reggio Emilia for one brief day. I had a photo/video project to do at the Santuario della Madonna della Ghiara, a famous shrine in the city, in the care of the Friar-Servants of Mary. So, I looked immediately for a place close to the Sanctuary/church. A quick search of Booking.com gave me the Reggio Lovely and I am beyond happy that I booked it..."EXCEPTIONAL" is my word for this utterly convenient, well-fitted out, quiet studio with an incredibly helpful host! My ONLY regret was that I could only stay for one night. It would have been the perfect place for a week! The apartment/studio was large, airy, super clean, and well-appointed with a queen bed, a couch, TV, large dining table+4 chairs, a complete small kitchen (I.e., 4 burner stove, full fridge+separate freezer, coffee maker, electric teapot, toaster, microwave, AND A CLOTHES WASHER!!! The bathroom was also perfectly modern with both toilette+bidet, shower, sink, etc., and it's own window, always an extra "plus." Occasionally, I have found Italian accomodations not too well lighted, or having too few sockets to make charging appliances/devices easier. But the Reggio Lovely has it ALL, plenty of bright lighting, a ceiling fan (in addition to the very welcome air-conditioning unit), plus all the sockets I needed to keep my phone, computer, and camera equipment charged and ready. BTW, the Internet was also instant and strong. As I said, I was sad only with just spending one night...I would add, and importantly, that the owner/manager, Andre, helped me immensely as I had trouble with the online "check-in" form on my phone. But when I messaged Andre about it from the train station, he phoned me almost immediately and we worked through the problem and resolved it quickly...wonderful, and the extra bonus for me was Andre's perfect English. My final evaluation: Exceptional, top-notch, 100% recommended!

I loved everything that you offered. It’s an excellent place to stay in Reggio Emilia. It has a strategic location near the train station, and restaurants. Bed&Basta is a wonderful location for a stay in Reggio Emilia! The House is located in a very beautiful residential area, there is a nice restaurant and a bar just round the corner and the old part of the city can be reached in a couple of minutes by foot. We were staying at Bed&Basta for a Rammstein concernt at the RCF Arena and it is easily reached by foot, it's approx. 4km away, the walk is nice and takes roughly 1h. Bed&Basta doesn't offer a breakfast, but there is a wonderful place just a few walking minutes away called "C.S. Catomes Tôt" and located in the "Parco Alcide Cervo". Just next to the Parc there is the bakery "Panificio Panciroli Reggio Emilia" where you can buy bread, some small Pizza, etc. Bed&Basta is managed fully remotely, we had no direct interaction with any reception persons or similar, you get a QR code to enter the building and the room card is left in a safe for which you get an access code. It's very well organized but you should always have some battery left in your phone otherwise you won't get in. It may be a good idea to print the QR code just in case. The room itself was wonderful. It is newly renovated, with a wardrobe, a fridge and air conditioning. The bathroom is very clean and large with a very nice shower. The room service is done every morning, so everything is cleaned up and your bed is made daily. For Dinner, we loved the "Piazza Antonio Fontanesi" and especially the restaurant "Bistrot Canossa" which offers wonderful meals at a good price. We also very much enjoyed the "Oltre Restaurant" which is more expensive but offers wonderful food in a courtyard that is just beautiful. When arriving in Reggio Emilia by train, note that there are two train stations. "Reggio Emilia AV" is outside of the city and it is a long walk to get there (~7km). The downtown station is much closer.
