La Pietriccia was a surprise. Beautifully located near Chianciano terme, at easy reach to many interesting locations and museums. We booked two rooms (with and without kitchen) and they were simple but full of all what was needed (including the salt for cooking and a selection of teas!). Thoroughly cleaned daily, the rooms were simple and had lovely views. We had breakfasts and dinners at the restaurant and we were very pleased with the quality of the products and the care on healthy and slow cooking (forget burger and fries). Kids loved all the different dishes that they tried, including the vegetables! Special mention goes to the delicious “minestrone” vegetables soup made upon request for us! I strongly advice trying it at least once! Breakfast was various and healthy with choices of homemade cakes and fresh fruit just picked from the tree outside! Big hit with the kids was the outdoor pool (with stunning view) and the hens, which my little one HAD TO visit every day and feed! A special thank you to Stefano the owner who made the day when he crafted a origami jumping frog for my little one :)

We had an amazing experience from the moment we arrived to when we left. The service, the atmosphere and place was breathtaking. Food and wine was amazing. Apartment was lovely with great space and comfort. In general we are very pleased and happy to have stayed at Villa Nottola and will definitely be returning!

This was the perfect place for a romantic trip to Montepulciano. The room was beautiful with a nice view of olive trees out the window. We real enjoyed the jacuzzi. Gloria was very welcoming and accommodating; the breakfast was great as well.

Right off the main attractions of Montepulciano, with everything in a few minutes walking distance, this apartment is beautiful with plenty of Italian charm and wine region views.
