Damiano was incredibly welcoming. The kitchen was stocked with cheeses, yogurt, and eggs from the farm and they were delicious. When we were too late to make it to a bakery, Damiano generously gave us bread from his own kitchen. We were given a tour of the farm and got to see newborn lambs frolicking with their mothers. There was wonderful dining nearby and even though it's only twenty minutes from the airport, the farm is quiet and bucolic.

    I really liked the hosts at the property and the breakfast provided was really good with homemade cakes and local produce. The location and the village is ideal for exploring Lake Como and surrounding places. I used the train to see everywhere it was great and cheap.

    Great stay for a flight out of Malpensa the next day. Order a pizza and enjoy the common kitchen area (which was large and inviting). Not much of a village but perfect for a place to rest before a long flight.
