I absolutely don't understand the negative reviews. I had very warm welcome from the owner. The room is spacious, with fridge and microwave and very comfortable bed. Bathroom is down the hall and is spotless clean. I never heard any noise during night. Parking on the street. But walking distance to the Conad store and seaside. Very nice breakfast.

The apartment is placed in the centre of Erice in perfect distance to everything. It was SO charming and also had a cute little garden, where you could sit and enjoy coffee or wine - which the hosts provided for free. Iole and Guiseppe picked us up from the bus, drove us to Erice and shared information and history of the city. When we opened the fridge it was full of fruit, beer, wine, juice and so on and ingredients for breakfast, free coffee and pasta and olive oil as a gift. Honestly words cannot describe this place! You have to come here to experience the city and the hosts. We had the greatest two days and felt like home. Our favourite place to eat was at Cafè San Giuliano.

This was a last minute booking when my Airbnb fell though. I booked the room 10 mins before showing up at the hotel. The staff was so kind and welcoming. The room was ready instantly. It was little more than I intended to pay, but well worth the money. Clean, comfortable, and a big room.
