This traditional japanese house is a hidden gem! The house has nice decoration. The room is spacious & comfy. You have a corrider and tea table outside. The bathroom & toilets are shared. They were clean. The owner is really nice. Useful info: It took 1.30 hours from Kanazawa to reach here. There is a local train station right in front of the house. However, there was no disturbing sound of it. We had a great time staying in the house. Totally recommended.

Everything was great! Exceptional service, outstanding facilities. And most of all, it was just the most unique experience to stay so close to the temple and enjoy the possibility to take part in the ceremonies.

We were delighted with our visit. The food was excellent and the staff very friendly. It was one of three onsens we visited, and I must say it was as good as the others, which were more expensive. They were also very good about meeting us at the station with their limo bus. Very enjoyable.
