All staffs are very kind and they provided high quality of services. Onsen was great and also Kaiseki dinner was awesome and delicious. Stay at Okuno Hosomichi was an unforgettable time for us. Initially email communication was misleading , you actually don’t need to request for shuttle fr the San Bandai bus from Osaka. The airport shuttle stops n pickup from there. We stayed 2 nights, no need to book private, the 9Fand B2 baths were great, the interactive Kaiseri dinners were excellent, the breakfast was so good, we skipped lunch both days. Spouse making plans to go back next year. We requested the Japanese style rooms and enjoyed it despite tough getting up fr the floor due to my titanium knees

The breakfast was amazing. It was delivered to my room and had little plates of different things. The private onsen reservations were so lovely and outdoor so you can see into the garden. The staff was really helpful and would drive us anywhere in the town as part of the service.

We spent a wonderful 2 nights at this enchanting hotel to celebrate our 5-year anniversary. From the room to the food, the building and the Onsen, it was a celebration for all the senses. The food was exceptional - from dinner to breakfast, the dishes were prepared with the freshest ingredients, all sourced locally. Absolutely everything was fantastic from start the finish. The staff worked hard to provide us with a wonderful stay. The rooms are beautiful and extremely comfortable, of particular note the massage chair was fantastic. The Onsen itself was warm and comforting, and having a Sauna in addition to it was a nice touch. Both meals we had, Breakfast and Dinner were absolutely delicious. Additionally, it's quite an easy walk from the train station compared to other Onsens in the area, so if travelling with a lot of luggage it could be a good option.

If I dreamt up the perfect room, this would be it! I loved : the # of wastebaskets, the controls for the lights and curtains, the toilet, the automatic closing bathroom door, the room’s small amenities, which felt very luxurious and nice, the storage closet, sauna, and hot spring/ tub/shower room- absolutely everything. Every detail of the room has been thought out. Thoughtful design, purposeful and functional layout and mechanisms, and it all looked and felt so luxurious.
