The best guest house I have ever stayed at !!! It was a whole experience in itself, Chika's house is very traditional (absolutely beautiful) but modern and clean. Chika's English is super good and she knows many things about her village and Japanese culture. She is very helpful and replies fast even when I did a late checkout. For 3 days I felt like I had a new family, we were all friends and spent hours watching TV and chatting all together. Breakfast is also amazing and the town had Animal Crossing vibes because everyone is so friendly. There are delicious local bakeries and restaurants as well as traditional handmade gift shops, all settled in traditional houses. This is far from the touristic non authentic experience you can have in the famous cities around. I can't wait to come back💗

Beautiful view of the mountains and the city. Very close to Osaka and so easy to get to. Rooms were large and clean. Staff were very kind and helpful. Breakfast was fantastic.

The traditional breakfast was awesome with local products and super tasty. The two showers were a nice touch. The bed was comfortable (especially super comfy comforter). The view was great. We came by car so I don't know about access otherwise.

Mai was an excellent host & we thoroughly enjoyed our time in Osaka. Checking in was easy with the instructions provided & once we arrived the apartment was beautifully decorated, with real character. All facilities were clean & comfortable. The highlight of our trip was sitting next-door at the bar in the evenings with Mai & many of her regular customers- everyone was extremely friendly & we had a fantastic time. We will be recommending to all our travelling friends!

What an incredible experience! When travel is your passion you seek more than just a comfy bed and good location, you seek an all incapsulating experience. And you will find that here. The property is culturally significant, boosting traditional Japanese living with a touch of western comforts. It’s set on an old street lined with traditional Japanese house a short stroll or bike ride into town. One of the most incredible aspects of our stay was our host, who was extremely tentative and welcomed us with open arms and shared some of the local eateries for some mouthwatering traditional Japanese cuisine.
