The host Michiyo was the absolute sweetest and kindest lady. She brought my kids to her garden to pick fresh veges and was so warm. The place was beautiful, and made the experience immersive.

This was a highlight of our trip around Japan. You get to stay in a beautiful traditional house and interact with welcoming local hosts. The house is surrounded by nature right next to a waterfall. There’s private onsen: one outdoor and indoor. You get to wear the traditional clothes: one for dinner, another one for sleep. Hosts serve amazing dinner!!!! The entire experience is one of a kind and definitely would love to come back next time!

Hotel Fuki no Mori is a 20-minute ride from JR Nagiso Train Station on the hotel’s free shuttle. Guests can enjoy walks at the garden or the scenic areas surrounding the hotel.

Our stay at Hotel Fuki no Mori was the highlight of our trip to Japan. Everything about the hotel was perfect - Onsen, dinners, breakfast, grounds, and the facilities. We spent three nights there and we did not want to leave!

It was a very nice Glam-camping experience. The BBQ dinner was a FULL dinner (too much food) but really nice.

Room spacious and well-equipped. The beautiful garden view was soothing and refreshing. The gentleman at the reception was very helpful and polite. He tried his very best to answer our every question and helped arranging our stargazing night tour efficiently. Breakfast was good.

The house is gorgeous, clean, and thoughtfully designed. The owner's attention to detail and warm hospitality made our stay truly memorable. We're especially grateful for the generous sharing of their farm produce - the vegetables, rice, soy sauce, and BBQ sauces were all incredibly fresh and delicious.
