This is a family owned ryokan and the hosts lady was super nice. She met us at a train station since she knew our train arrival time. That was a nice surprise. The ryokan itself is quite close to the station a couple of minutes walk away from the main town street. Tsuwano is a nice little town and you could easily spend a half or full day there. We had a half board arrangement and it was a blast - full set Japanese dinner with a sake tasting and equally complete Japanese breakfast. Tremendous value and reception! Highly recommend!

This guest house that I would call more like a ryokan is wonderful, the house, the garden, the nice breakfast, but most of all, the host was great. My main memories of tsuwano will ever be her(Kana) and her ryokan. They were the highlight of my stay in tsuwano . Share a japanese style room with another guest, make it more interesting . Fair price, too. Daniel
