The surroundings are quite chilled and are also kid-friendly. It is also just 10 minutes away from Kuruwiti Vipingo Beach. Plus, it was near the event to which we were going, hence we avoided the Kilifi town congestion.

It's relatively close to the beach, probably a 15 min walk. However, you will probably want to take some kind of transportation for most things like restaurants, grocery shopping etc. as there is basically nothing close to you. The a/c was a must as the unit has steel doors that radiate heat inward. Kitchen facilities were fine for simple meals and the refrigerator worked well. Staff were very welcoming and friendly. The place is also secure with a locked gate requiring staff to open for you.
