The place is amazing. Big clean rooms with lots of hangers, comfy beds, nice upstairs balcony to work on or to space out on, nice downstairs bar area with hammocks to chill in or to space out on, huge well equipped common kitchen which I did not use. Hostess Ellen is an awesome and funny lady. MPai Village gives a real island feeling with great foods, tiny size, actual resident locals unlike Saracen beach, fun laughs and the occasional water and power cut.

great location, original accommodation (tippi), the tippis are pretty big, plenty of place inside. location on the beach is amazing. dinners organised in the evening with all the guests, great atmosphere

Omg - Where do I start? Sam is lovely! The house is lovely! The village is lovely! This whole island is lovely!! The moment it set a foot on M‘Pai Bay I decided that I would like to stay longer. Sam made it happen ♥️ she’s such a great host! Always helping you out and gives you a lot of information about what’s going on on the island, where to eat, where to chill etc. she always took care of me and was checking if everything is ok. Thanks Sam!♥️ The room has everything you need for an unforgettable stay. The perks of traveling is that you meet great people and great places. Can't recommend this place enough, especially for travellers who want to support local Khimer families.👏 The best stay I had in all the Cambodian islands! Situated right next to the peer where the boats come in, yet very tranquil. Bungalows are huge and have verandas, hidden away on a quiet strip of sandy road. They are Impeccably decorated - the little details of love, everywhere. Tea kettle - complimentary coffee, excellent shower, mosaic stones in the bathroom, bedside tables for charging, good wifi - excellent lighting. I can go on.😄 It's next to the diveshop, and those guys are very cool. Lastly, this family is open, funny, wise, and patient - not to mention effortlessly helpful, kind, and generous. Thank you!

The family was very nice and helpful. The guesthouse is located only a minute away from the sea, and there's a small shop just downstairs. The room was nice, with a shared balcony area with other rooms. Very good vegetarian food available, curries and falafels for example. We stayed for 8 nights and would have stayed even longer, if we didn't have to go to to mainland to extend our visas. Very warmly recommended :)

Really nice cottage with AC and small terrace, just on the beach. We tried almost everything from the restaurant and it was delicious. Prices for meals, alkohol and beverages are lower than in any place on the island but still bit too expensive for Cambodia. Owners are really kind and helpful people, they are working hard to keep everything as it should be. It is good to buy breakfast included it is much more cheaper than buying breakfast anywhere on the island.

The hotel is relatively new and the owner was taking care of many details. The rooms are well equipped, very clean and comfortable. We had a bungalow directly at one of the pools. The staff is very friendly, helpful and they are taking very good care of the guests. The breakfast was very good as well with individual cooked omelets, fresh fruits and much more. The food at the restaurant was tasting and the BBQ at the beach, which takes place at the weekend was phenomenal. Close to the hotel is a small village with restaurants, bars, laundry services and small shops. The gym is small but has high quality equipment. We have enjoyed our stay and didn't want to leave.
