Brilliant, helpful staff and mgmt. Good tips on temples, transport, cinema, etc. Super clean - best housekeeping in SL! Leafy green courtyard and garden. 15 min walk to train station, 30 mins walk to Malayan Cafe. One of the pricier places I stayed in SL, but 100% good value.

Great location, just off the road making it very peaceful at night. Good air con and fan. Great size room with balcony overlooking the garden and plantation. Good host and Sri Lankan breakfast. They also do laundry, which was a god sent in a city with no laundrettes.

The rooms are large with all facilities. The breakfast had plenty of choices. Authentic Sri Lankan Breakfast. We were given the choice to order what we preferred. The host Haran was fantastic always going out of his way to make sure that we were comfortable. He even organised a vehicle with an experienced driver to tour Jaffna. Nallur Residence is centrally located just a step away from the famous Nallur Kandaswamy Temple.

Great location for transportation, services and amenities. Still in a quiet neighborhood. Cleanest new building with a cool breeze from the trees around. More than enough personnel for security, maintenance etc. I rented a small single room, but there are bigger a/c rooms with plenty of common space to accommodate groups.

We loved our stay at Abi Holiday Home. It was wonderful to have a house to relax in. There was ac and fans in every room. Anything we needed was provided for us by the hosts. Their office is across the way so they were always on hand. They provided 5 bikes for us to cycle around the town which was greatly appreciated. The breakfasts were plentiful and delicious. Would highly recommend staying here while staying in Jaffna!

Hello Ladies and Gentleman, I recently had the pleasure of staying at Berty's Cottage as a solo traveler, and I must say, I felt incredibly comfortable throughout my whole visit in Jaffna. Upon arrival, I was warmly welcomed by a lovely young couple who offered me a delicious cup of tea, which was a delightful touch. Even the process of paying was feeling featherlight. During my stay, I was quite busy with various activities, but I always looked forward to returning to my room in the evenings. The beds + blankets were exceptionally comfortable, and the air conditioning made for a perfect sleeping environment. I slept very well each night! The hosts were incredibly attentive and went above and beyond to ensure I had a pleasant experience. They prepared a fantastic breakfast for me each morning, and even woke up early to accommodate my early check-out request. Their hospitality truly made a difference. I really can recommend Berty's Cottage to anyone looking for a cozy and family-like atmosphere. If you’re seeking a welcoming place to stay, this is definitely the travel - spot for you!
