- the staff is really amazing , most friendly staff we had in Sri lanka already, they are extremely kind and helpful - the hotel and rooms are huge and have a really colonial style, totally different vibe than the other hotels we stayed in but a welcome variety during our trip - breakfast was amazing and very big portions - a nice welcome coffee/tea when you arrive - everything is on walking distance - very clean and hygienic room and hotel - amazing pool table!

Review for Cabin 7000 Feet, Nuwara Eliya My stay at Cabin 7000 Feet in Nuwara Eliya was truly memorable! Located in Shanthipura, the highest village in Nuwara Eliya, it offers an incredible view of the hills and valleys—a perfect spot to chill and take stunning photos. The rooms were super cozy, making it easy to relax and feel right at home. The washrooms were very clean, and the separate kitchen area was a thoughtful touch, giving us the option to cook if needed. The food was absolutely delicious! We especially loved the beef deviled, grilled chicken fried rice, and the authentic Sri Lankan breakfast. Each meal was prepared with great care and full of flavor. A special shoutout to Mr. Roshan, who was incredibly helpful and made sure we had everything we needed. His hospitality really made the experience feel personal and welcoming. If you’re looking for a peaceful retreat with amazing views, delicious food, and a cozy atmosphere, I highly recommend Cabin 7000 Feet. It’s a place I’d love to visit again!

It’s a unique property, just few steps away from all the buzz. Cabana is truly amazing, every little detail is thought through. Gorgeous bathroom, with bathtub overlooking the little town and the mountains. Facilities- top class! Better than some 5* Hotels. But all of that would be nothing, without amazing Host, who met us with a biggest smile and was there every time we needed something. Food set up, quality is out of this world. Rajith is an amazing host, always happy to share all the helpful informations and easily reachable by phone when you need him. His place is adorable. Him and his family will make you a beautiful breakfast using the food from their garden. it takes ~45min to get to the city by foot or ~10 by tuktuk which will cost you 2$. Nuwara Eliya is probably the most beautiful place in Sri Lanka, so it is really nice to walk and enjoy the landscapes during the daylight. We would come back anytime!

We booked very short notice as we changed plans and upon our arrival everything was already arranged. We got tea and cakes for welcome and we even got the better room because they had a last minute cancellation and so it was free anyway. So we got a very nice view upon Nuwara Eliad as the hotel is located on a little hill. The whole place looks quiete new and pretty and they have a wonderful garden. The bed was very comfy and the bathroom big and clean. The breakfast was also very good and we could choose from different options. We unfortunately just stayed one night but we would definitiv come again. We could pay by card.

What a super relaxing place to stay. The host Jayantha who is always with a smile is all out to make your stay a comfortable and memorable one. The location is a bit away from mad rush of the Nuwara Eliya town. This makes the place quiet and relaxing. The view is so scenic that makes you completely unwind and relax. The approach road is a bit tough, but then this is a typical Nuwara Eliya road that leads you to the top of the hill and makes such a difference from other stays.
